The two companies, VITAL TECHNICS and BONDZAI, decided to evaluate the performance of Bondzai’s embedded AI solution applied to VITAL Technics’ medical devices and to make these devices even more lightweight and resistant to environmental and hardware variations.
Preliminary results show the effectiveness of the solution on real-time medical image classification, with results comparable to competing solutions but with unmatched agility and hardware requirements on data management and network footprint several tens of times smaller and no need for hardware acceleration. Finally, DavinSy’s embedded learning capabilities provide new opportunities for Vital Technics in its product roadmap.
